Mark has extensive career experience in all aspects of municipal engineering. Having served as Town Engineer for the Town of Ellicottville for over 30 years, Mark has been involved in working with the Town Board and the Planning Board throughout his career. He has performed plan review for projects in the Town and has assisted with drafting and administering the community’s Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Law. Mark has also served as Town Highway Superintendent and Town Building Code Enforcement Officer for a short period of time during his career. This combined experience has allowed him to gain an intricate knowledge of many aspects of municipal government and municipal budgets.
Also, as the Principal and Founder of MDA Consulting Engineers, Mark has been responsible for all aspects of the business including business development, technical quality, professional development, and scheduling. Mark has extensive experience in all aspects of municipal utility projects as well. His broad knowledge allows him to understand our client’s needs and also allows him to coordinate with Legal Counsel, Bond Counsel, Fiscal Advisors, Funding Agencies as well as Regulatory Agencies when necessary.
Today, Mark has retired as Owner of the firm but remains available on staff as technical consultant and subject matter expert.
